Implantology

Today implant procedures increasingly take into account not only purely functional but also aesthetic aspects. In about 40% of all implantations, clinicians include regenerative procedures to build up bone and soft tissue. The use of bone substitutes and membranes is now one of the standard therapeutic approaches

Periodontology

Regenerative treatment of periodontally damaged teeth is a demanding task.
In addition to the appropriate flap technique and application of the regenerative materials, it requires control of the bacterial infection that caused the periodontitis.
A pre- and post-operative hygiene phase and patient motivation are therefore basic requirements for therapeutic success.

Aims of regenerative treatment
• Restoration of the complete tooth attachment apparatus with bone, cementum, and ligament
• Prevention of long junctional epithelial down growth as a risk factor for later, renewed periodontitis
• Long-term tooth retention
• Positive aesthetic appearance
